Healing Sanctuary

Healing Sanctuary presents a duality.

My work speaks about the relationship between the seen and unseen which is represented by ten larger-than-life drawings of medicinal herbal plants and their roots that have had a profound physical healing effect for me.

Plants, roots, and seeds create visceral metaphors for mental health. Our mental resilience can be strengthened by “planting” various strategies beneath the surface.
